Tom Hanks-2-1024x767Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9, 1956) is an American actor and film director. He is well-known for his dramatic and comedic roles. Hanks is an American popular culture icon. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was the father of Janet Marylyn, a hospital worker, as well as Amos Mefford Hanks (an itinerant chef). The family of his mother, initially known as "Fraga" and was 100% Portuguese, while his father was of mostly English ancestry. Tom was raised in a "fractured family". He didn't have any acting experience in college. This is what made to launch his career. He was an auditioner in downtown Cleveland for the community theatre show.
