Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, actress, American stage and screen actress and producer. She is most famous as a film actress due to her performances as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a BA at Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actress as well as a producer and director. She works in television and film. Aunjanue L. Ellis started her acting career in theatre. Then, she appeared in television programs along with independent and mainstream film. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The two series garnered reviews, and she also won a lot of awards. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut with The Tempest as Ariel. On Broadway, she has appeared as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In terms of her career in movies, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. In the world of television, her role on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her high praise.
